Does not work. Does not work. In windows 10 I have 9 unknown devices in the device manager. When I run this program - it lists ALL devices. When I look closely at the long list I did find 1 device that has Unknown manufacture Disk (thumb device). If I right-click and select search for driver it does a web-search for Unknown manufacture Disk, which returns meaningless results. This program is worthless. It would not be that hard to make a working program - just look through the Device list and do a search on the PID/VID for each device tagged as Unknown.Geez, do I have to write every program! Pros: The promise to do something that is neededThe price Cons: Actual functionality would be very nice

great bit of software gives you everything. Unknown device identifier is a very handy bit of software it identifies the manufacturer, the version and alot of other info too but the best part is you can actually search for a specific driver for specific hardware through unknown device identifier and you can backup device drivers also which all in all is a great tool for the technicians out there i use it on a regular basis and find it to be my tool of choice for identifying pesky devices. Although it has some drawbacks. i still think this is an awesome tool to use, just try it its free and it works the way it should if i could rate it out of 10 I'd give it a 7 Pros: quick identification of all drivers onboard and expansion, search feature for drivers searches.Identifies down to the vendor. Makes finding drivers for devices super easy. Cons: Trying to find a device that,s been identified with the search for drivers feature its a bit loopy

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
